This May, President Xi Jinping met with Mr. Prime Minister during your visit to China. Bilateral relations have been lifted to a comprehensive strategic partnership. China is willing to continuously deepen bilateral relations with Hungary on the basis of mutual respect and equal treatment, so as to elevate China-Hungary traditional friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation to a new level.

China is willing to implement the Budapest Guidelines for Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries and other outcome documents with CEEC, including Hungary, in a bid to inject new impetus to the "16+1 cooperation" as well as facilitate the development of China-EU relations and cooperation.
