Li Keqiang Meets with Chairman of Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic of Bosnia and Herzegovina

On the morning of November 28, 2017 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the hotel where he stayed in Budapest.

Li Keqiang noted that China-Bosnia and Herzegovina practical cooperation has enjoyed constant development. The Chinese side is willing to make joint efforts with Bosnia and Herzegovina to maintain high-level exchanges, guide the development of bilateral relations, and push forward bilateral cooperation for smooth progress.

Li Keqiang pointed out that China attaches importance to speeding up bilateral cooperation in energy, which is one of the pillars for bilateral practical cooperation, and hopes to actively advance power plants and other energy projects. Both sides should, through deepening bilateral cooperation in infrastructure construction, give play to Bosnia and Herzegovina's location advantage to generate radiating effect on driving China's cooperation with the Balkan region. The two sides should, on the basis of expanding bilateral trade in agricultural products, expand cooperation in agricultural product processing and equipment manufacturing. The two countries should facilitate personnel exchanges and tourism cooperation by taking the opportunity presented by the visa-exempt agreement signed during the Summit of China and Central and Eastern European Countries.

Denis Zvizdic expressed that developing its relations with China is the top priority of Bosnia and Herzegovina's diplomacy. Attaching great importance to its relations with China and to bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation within the "16+1 cooperation" framework, the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina stands ready to implement the already-reached consensus, and advance cooperation in connectivity, transportation infrastructure, power plants, agriculture, tourism, people-to-people and cultural engagement and other fields.
