Li Keqiang Sends Message of Condolences to Dmitry Medvedev Over the Explosion in St. Petersburg Metro

On April 4, 2017, Premier Li Keqiang sent a message of condolences to Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev over the explosion in the St. Petersburg metro of Russia, which caused heavy casualties.

Li Keqiang expressed that I am shocked to learn about the explosion in the St. Petersburg metro of your country that caused heavy casualties. China strongly condemns such terrorist act. On behalf of the Chinese government and people and in my own name, I would like to extend deep condolences to you, and through you, to all the victims as well as sincere sympathies to the bereaved families.

The Chinese side firmly opposes all forms of terrorism, and is willing to, together with Russia, deepen anti-terrorism cooperation to jointly safeguard security and peace of both countries and the world.
