Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Fathollahi Hold Political Consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the Two Countries


On December 8, 2010, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun and visiting Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammad Ali Fathollahi held political consultations between the two Foreign Ministries.

Zhai said that in recent years, China-Iran relations have maintained a positive, strong growth momentum in general, with friendly cooperation in all areas advancing continuously. China highly praises Iran's adherence to the one-China policy and is ready to work with Iran to push forward bilateral ties.

Fathollahi emphasized that Iran attaches great importance to ties with China and is ready to work with China to push Iran-China friendly cooperative relations for new progress.

Both sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern.
