Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun Meets with New Ambassador of the Republic of Congo to China

On December 6, 2010, Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun met with the new ambassador of the Republic of Congo to China in the foreign ministry. Zhai spoke highly of China-Congo relations and extended gratitude to the Congolese side for its valuable support on the major issues concerning China and donation for the reconstruction of a primary school in the earthquake-hit Yushu area. He said China-Congo friendly relations, with the joint efforts of both sides, will continue to develop.

The new ambassador of the Republic of Congo said his country attaches great importance to developing relations with China and takes China as the most important partner. During his tenure, he will do his best to work with China to push forward the bilateral relations.
