Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun Meets with Outgoing Ambassador of Liberia to China

On November 26, 2010, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun met in the Foreign Ministry with Mrs. Neh Rita Sangai Dukuly Tolbert, outgoing Ambassador of Liberia to China. Zhai said since the resumption of diplomatic ties between the two countries, their bilateral relations have achieved great development with close high-level exchanges and fruitful cooperation in all areas. China attaches importance to developing ties with Liberia. He expressed belief that with the joint efforts of both sides, bilateral friendly cooperation will have bright prospects.

Tolbert said during her five-year tenure in China, she witnessed rapid development of the country and personally felt the sincere friendship of the Chinese people to Liberia and other African nations. In recent years, the two countries have conducted fruitful cooperation in bilateral areas and within the framework of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. The Liberian side thanked for China’s sincere assistance and welcomed more Chinese businesses to invest in the country for mutual benefit, she added.
