Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived in Beijing by special plane on the evening of July 7 after attending the Outreach Session of the Group of Eight (G8) Summit from July 7-9.

Ling Jihua, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee (CPCCC) and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, Wang Huning, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee (CPCCC) and Director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee, State Councilor Dai Bingguo and other accompanying officials arrived in Beijing by the same plane.
