BEIJING, March. 25 -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao is to visit four south Asian countries in a weeklong tour, starting April 5th. He will visit Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India.

    Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said Thursday that Premier Wen's trip aims to strengthen friendship and expand cooperation with the four nations.

    The premier is also to address the opening of the 4th Asian Cooperation Dialogue Foreign Ministers' Meeting. It will be held on April 6 in Islamabad, Pakistan.
