Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Qin Gang announces:

The 14th Summit of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) will be held in New Delhi, India from April 3 to 4. At the invitation of the Government of India, chair of the summit and the next rotating president of SAARC,Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing will head the Chinese delegation to attend the summit. This is the first time for China to attend the summit since it becomes the observer of SAARC.
