People enjoy the Tibetan opera at the closing ceremony of 2009 Lhasa Shoton Festival.

The 7-day Shoton Festival, which opened on August 20, concluded on August 26 in the Norbu Lingka of Lhasa, former residence of Daial Lamas.

During the period, as many as 300,000 tourists and Tibetan Buddhists attended the Buddha painting unfolding ceremony held in Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery.

Besides, 41 projects valued at 3.99 billion yuan have come to agreement at the trade fair held during Shoton Festival.
