Tibet Photo Exhibition opened in Holland


    A photo exhibition about Tibet opened on May 5th in Hague City Hall of Holland, providing a window for local people to understand the past and present of the Tibet.

    This exhibition attracted Dutch Minister of Education, Culture and Science, mayor of Hague City and other 500 officers for the launching ceremony.

    It consists of three parts: the reform and opening up in China; the democratic reforms in Tibet and China-Holland friendly cooperation and shows the backwardness of old Tibet and the development and progress of new Tibet, as well as the deep friendship between China and Holland by about 60 pictures with English descriptions.

    Moreover, the pictures about Beijing Olympic Games, Bird's nest, the rural grass-roots elections, the developments of clean energy, Tibetan language and Tibetan medicine raised strong interests among the visitors.

    The exhibition was held by the Embassy of China in Kingdom of the Netherlands.
